The compound has been structurally characterized in complex with human matrix metallopeptidase 12 catalytic domain at high resolution but has not advanced into clinical development or received regulatory approval for any indication as per available data[2][9]. Its primary research use is as a tool compound for studying metalloproteinase inhibition.
